Re: Stephen King just stopped trying...
My favorite King book is 'The Colorado Kid' and it's not even a horror book. His horror stuff isn't what it used to be.

Re: Red State wraps.
Maybe in this film we'll finally see the end of Jay and Silent Bob (obnoxious stoners in their thirties are not funny). Maybe a brutal and bloody revenge from the guy in the Easter Bunny suit.

Re: Predators trailer
Predator 2 wasn't actually that bad. Not as good as the first, but I got to give them props for throwing in a different setting than a jungle. AVP 1 went off the mark as the Predators went to places that were hot, and the movie took place in Antarctica.

Re: Horror Movie Discussion
House with William Katt and Richard (or Charles, as he was listed in Night Train of Terror, or I might have screwed up both first names) the House that had Bull from Night Court. And the TCM2 I was referring to was the one directed by Tobe Hooper and not the recent 'Beginning.' The recent one sucked...

Re: What are your top remakes of the genre?
The Thing definitely
Dawn of the Dead was good
I didn't really look too hard in the other posts, but did someone mention Twilight Zone The Movie. I know it were aped off of the old TV shows, but it would classify as a remake.

Re: Nightmare on Elm Street remake trailer.
I'm just saying that the trailer made him look like he was innocent of the crimes that he had done before the mob killed him. As for talking about prequels like The Thing, (and this is sick) they should have one about Freddy before the mob killed him (don't need to be graphic about that). People lik...

Re: Predators trailer
Look at the quality of actors they have in the Predators movie versus The Thing prequel. I can count at least one Oscar.

Re: What did you just watch? (Horror)
I don't have cable, but the box that you have to get with the HD, I have gotten a few more channels (lost all the cooking channels though, dammit) but I have retro TV and it shows an old series called Night Gallery. Probably from the seventies but it was produced by Rod Serling. Twilight Zone ripoff...

Re: Rob Zombie's Halloween.
Just saw part two. There could have been a lot of promise considering Zombie wanted to make it his. Rob needs to get rid of his 'oh, I was a film student/ fan' and focus more on the story he wanted. I expected from the flashback that Laurie had that she had killed their mother and Micheal was pissed...

Re: Predators trailer
I heard Robert Rodriguez wanted to make a Predator film in the past. This will probably be pretty cool with his name tagged on it. I would rather look forward to this than that Thing prequel that I heard about.

How about one homicidal clown and one vengeful demon for a story line?
