Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

After going through the first three Hellraiser movies as part of my Halloween Horror viewing this past October, I think Hellraiser III might actually be my favorite one. Not a popular opinion I'm sure, but I find it's probably the all-around most entertaining one, even if it was a bit of a tonal dep...

Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

I still have to see the newer Tremors movies, I've seen up to and including the fourth. The first two are both great, thought 3 and 4 were meh.

Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

On the subject of Jurassic Park/World, going by the newest trailer for the upcoming Fallen Kingdom it definitely looks much more Horror-oriented than the prior films. I recall the director of the fourth film said this one would be a Horror movie with dinosaurs and I certainly get that impression fro...

Re: Indiana Jones

News broke fairly recently that Indy 5 is being eyed as one of Spielberg's next movies. Good to hear, really hope it gets made sooner than later with Harrison as old as he is, now. To think he'll be almost 80 when it's out.

Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

I thought Pratt was easily one of the better things about Jurassic World. The movie as a whole didn't do it for me but Fallen Kingdom looks promising so far. I like how they're using animatronic dinosaurs again, something sorely lacking and missing from the last film.

Re: Indiana Jones

I wonder if after Ready Player One we'll finally get some Indy 5 news? I'd imagine Indy 5 has to be next for Spielberg after RPO (which looks amazing, so excited for it). We're just two years away from the release so we'll surely get news in the coming months. I'd love for the next movie to be more ...

Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

I recall in an earlier post I mentioned Jurassic Park and if it counts as Horror. Seeing the trailer for the upcoming new film (Fallen Kingdom) it definitely looks far more Horror-oriented than the prior films. I recall one of the writers even said it's a Horror movie with dinosaurs and that's the v...

Re: Indiana Jones

I really didn't find the fourth one so bad, although it was definitely a letdown the first time I saw it.

Re: Saw

The series would definitely be good to re-visit if you don't remember some of the other entries too well.

Saw

Wonder if anyone here is a fan of the series. I know it gets quite a bit of hate, but I've been a fan since almost the beginning. It's a clever series and better than it's sometimes credited for. Jigsaw is without a doubt one of the best more recent Horror icons in recent times and I have fun memori...

At least he did that hilarious bag over the head stunt, if nothing else.

Re: Indiana Jones

For me, Crystal Skull was probably the last movie Shia LeBeouf (Sp?) did where he was tolerable.

Re: Indiana Jones

Crystal Skull was definitely a disappointment the first time I saw it but it's grown on me a lot since. Though it isn't without serious problems.

Indiana Jones

Not sure if there was a topic for this before but if there was, feel free to merge. I searched and nothing came up. Any fans? One of my all-time favorite movie series and a big staple of my childhood. I love all the films and Indy is without a doubt one of my favorite film heroes of all-time. My ran...

Re: Best Film In a Horror Series

At the end of the day you can't go wrong with either, and both are a great double bill.
