I hate this film. But, just because I don't dig animal cruelty (even simulated) and the Jodi Foster naked thing.

A rewatch has helped me to appreciate it more, but I think Part 2 is vastly superior. As in: it's an uncherished, unrecognized gem. Undiscovered genius. Brilliant. Etc.

Christmas Evil is okay. It's well-made but I remember being disappointed when I first saw it that it wasn't weirder.

I only hope that it's so successful, they rush the sequel.
