Re: 2019 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread
Sorry I didn't really participate this year. Crazy month. I went ahead and posted what I remember watching. I didn't watch a bunch overall but did get some first-time viewings in (Eli, Night of the Demons, From Beyond). Hopefully I do a better job next year.

I have my computer set to alert me anytime someone mentions Joan Crawford, San Francisco real estate, masc-for-masc, and Golden Girls.

Watched The Skeleton Key for the first time for this challenge. Fuck, that's a great movie.
I'm finding over time that the 2000's actually produced more quality horror flicks than I thought.

For some reason, I always got a kick out of this film. The 3rd one, too.LivingDeadGirl wrote: Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice (1992)

It's got this 80's horror movie cover, and it's pretty goofy, not all that horror at all. But watching Lenny or Squiggy(whichever he was) be a crazy clown was funny. It's definit...

Re: 2017 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread
I read the script for The Babysitter when it was on the Black List a few years ago. I enjoyed the script, and the movie was pretty much identical to what I read. I liked it a lot.

Regarding Cult of Chucky, did anybody else get really excited when it revealed Andy has been keeping Chucky's severed head mounted in an isolated cabin? I thought this would've been really fun watching the two of them play mind games with each other, but it was short-lived when the focus shifted to ...

Re: 2017 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread
So has anyone else checked out Cult of Chucky on Netflix yet? The first half hour is fan-fucking-tastic, but then it treads familiar waters and becomes your standard B-movie.
