Re: Reacher

So what's he doing now? Is he a private detective? A cop? A government agent? He’s a hobo, which is probably why AR likes him. He wanders from place to place and trouble seems to find him, so he hooks up with local law enforcement or other agencies and because he tells them he used to be an MP they...

Re: Reacher

Okay, I think I get him confused with Lincoln Child. What is Reacher about? Is he some kind of secret agent guy who doesn't get picked on by his internet friends (as AR intimated)? He's an ex Army major who used to head up a team of MPs who would solve cases, a bit like the Santa Fe Sleuths. Except...

It's based off the character Jack Reacher by Lee Child.

Re: Reacher

I watched the first two episodes of S2 last night and it didn't disappoint.

I do wonder whose decision it was to have a character called Roscoe in Season 1 and Orozco in Season 2. That confused me for a while.

Re: Reacher

I watched the whole of season one on my flights to and from Egypt. Very good fun. I don't suppose it's as gritty as actual Jack Reacher novels (I have never read one) but I like the fact they don't hold back on some of the violence.

Re: 2023 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread

But I am going to come in here and drop a recommendation of watching Totally Killer on Amazon. It's a fun movie, it's a goofy movie and it's also a scary movie. Don't complain to me if you don't like it. Watched it*, very much liked it. Great, fun movie. No complaints, thanks for the recommendation...

Re: 2023 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread

I watched Talk to Me on Netflix last night. I'd largely glossed over this because it was another A24 joint that seemed to be getting hyped and I'm so over their shit now. However, I'm guessing they didn't get the distribution rights in the UK as their banner was nowhere to be seen on the Netflix ver...

I feel like Bruce Willis in Moonlighting is like Ryan Reynolds in pretty much everything today.

You should watch Us too.

Watched Hubie Halloween at the weekend. It's objectively terrible, but I enjoy it more each time I watch it. Definitely becoming a Halloween tradition.

Re: 2023 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread

ohhhhhhhhh, I really liked Midnight Meat Train . It seems like no one ever talks about that one. Have you watched it recently? The CGI blood looks really obvious these days. I need to watch both Dead Snow s at some point. Maybe this month. You should! Put them on your list. I think you'll dig...
