If you dig/dug skateboarding back in the day, this is a great documentary.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Re: Bones Brigade
What if you're not interested in skateboarding back in the day or any other time period?

You won't like it. Don't watch it if you aren't interested in the theme of the documentary. You won't enjoy it.

Re: Bones Brigade
Thank you for clearing that up for me. I know sometimes you watch a documentary and you'll be like, wow I don't even like that but that was fascinating. I didn't know if that was the case here or not.
I'm not going to choose not to watch it.

Re: Bones Brigade
I am pretty sure I have seen this.
Edited: Yes looked at Letterboxd, watched it in 2013 and gave it
I was a skater for most of my youth and early adulthood. I really only stopped once I entered the real working world... then i got fat and mean . I loved some of the early Powell videos, even though I preferred other companies and teams, there were always some great people on the team (Guy Mariano, Frankie Hill, Ray Barbee, etc). I honestly am not even sure if I ever owned a Powell board, maybe a Frankie Hill bulldog deck for a short time. I did skate Bones Swiss bearings though. And the occasional Rat Bones wheels. I was never a huge fan of the artwork on Powell Peralta decks. Now its iconic, and obviously the Skull Rip graphic is just timeless, but I never wanted that on a board I always preferred the graphics and feel of decks from Blind, H Street, 101, SMA, Foundation, Planet Earth, New Deal, etc. Just didn't like skating a Powell board.

If neither of these has pharmacists saving the world, I don't know why you'd be watching them.
