To be honest, if it's just some guy trying to drum up a little interest in his indie project I'm not too fussed. He hasn't tried to sell us generic Viagra (Russian spammers) or started with "ZOMG! My friend told me this movie was really kool!!11!" (Deon Taylor Enterprises) so I'm inclined to cut him a bit of slack.
He didn't even manage a clickable link in the post, so it's not like he'll even get any backlink benefit from it.
