Re: Official Horror DNA Book Club Thread
For whatever reason the board is being all funky this morning and not posting things necessarily. I ordered the book. I want to say that because the post saying that I ordered the book is sometimes here and sometimes not.
I would also like you to know that I am just laying here in bed and speaking this all out loud as if I was talking to you. I hope that makes this all that more special. It makes me feel somewhere between Jean-Luc Picard and some kind of invalid who is unable to move or type.

You should get the thermostat I did. You can change the temperature by yelling at it.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

I don't use the heat. I'm not a frail old woman or a little girl.
If there's a snowstorm this year I may turn it on, but I'll do it in passing as I walk to the bathroom.

I don't use the heat much either. But I'm fancy and have air conditioning too, and I do use that.

Get your book. Read the first three chapters by Wednesday(?) and we start discussing. Then start the next 3 by whatever day we decide.

Oh, no. I don't want any special considerations. I'm not going to put anyone out. I just remember when reading was supposed to be fun and not some kind of sprint or competition.

Re: Official Horror DNA Book Club Thread
It's not like that at all. I don't know how you got that impression. We read 3 chapters at a time and make a post. If someone's behind, someone's behind; they just don't read the post.
Shiki finished the last book about a week before me and it was no big deal.
