AP Bio

Post by Neon Maniac »

Has anyone watched this?

I liked the first 2 seasons of it, then fucking NBCTurds put S3 on Peacock. What a stupid name. Peacock. Why not just call it Pisspussy?

Anywhose... I did watch the 'free' S3 E1 and it was better than the other 2 seasons. Really, just the opener was, but it was hilarious and it makes me mad other people won't see it. Or at least not as many people as should see it.

It's a flashback to the main guy and his mom back in the 80's. He's making popcorn and his mom reads him the TV Guide description of that night's Jake & The Fatman to help him choose either the Nacho Cheese or Ranch seasoning to put on the popcorn. I purposely explained this in an unfunny way so as not to ruin the joke and encourage people to watch it.

I think a show about some mom reading TV Guide descriptions to her 12 year old son so he can decide what flavor of popcorn to have while watching it would be a fantastic show. And it really made me understand how pimps need Nacho Cheese, while dealing with old enemies is more of a Ranch choice.

I just watched the new S4 ep 1. It was hilarious, they all write fan fiction about each other in it.

I'm going to stop there for now because I don't want to marathon them all. Ep2 was very much a gem.

I watched the first season and about half of the second, then it just kind of dropped off the face of my world. Liked it well enough though, so I'm going to pick it back up.

There is something about this show that just cracks me up. It very much has heart. And I think the cast is awesome. I noticed with season 3 the show got a bit looser since it was on peacock, and so far the two episodes I've seen through season 4 I don't think I ever would have made it onto broadcast, and seriously I was dying it was so funny.

The episode with the flashback was hilarious.

I have to watch the new season, but yeah, this is a great show. AR doesn't get it.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Why do you have to come crap all over this thread just because other people like a show you don't? :shake:

I finished the season today (only 8 eps) and I think it may have been my favorite. They focus a lot more on other characters and some of the things like the cult absolutely cracked me up. I also like that they were kind of doing experimental episodes this season too. Like the teen rom-com episode.

We get it, okay? So you don't like Dennis. You can stop telling us about it, some of us think he's a treasure.

OMG we get it already! You like Dee and she's not in this, got it. I'm sad that The Mick was canceled too, because I rewatch it every couple of years and it only gets better.

All joking aside, Dennis is looking pretty old now. I was surprised how much changed between seasons. I see a future for him playing a stern old man against Patton Oswalt's goofy old man.
