Title of the movie

Main character looks similar to elijah woods. He hatches a plan to kill all the people he takes a hike with out on the woods. Last shot is him either on a podcast or recording an audio book or something. I one couple is trapped in a sleeping bag and i think its implied that they got hit repeatedly while trapped inside. It was on Netflix and not a documentary. older than 2016 Title?

For some reason all I could think of was that awful Don't Go in the Woods that Vincent D'Onofrio did. About the band that goes into the woods to write or record an album. The main guy kind of looks like Elijah Woods...

Yeah I am pretty convinced thats what it is. There even seems to be the sleeping bag scene in the trailer.

That movie sucks. Its embarrassingly bad.

Was it The Ice Storm? Something about the description reminded me of the Elijah Woods and Christina Ricci scene. Not many modern movies have key parties, so I think that's why my mind went there.
