I'm definitely reserving judgment. While this trailer doesn't show much at all, I'm okay with that. Far too often, trailers show WAY too much and I always complain about it. The fact that this doesn't even show Candyman is delightful.

I'll see it for sure, and I REALLY love the "Say My Name" remix in it.

I don't know what it is, but while I like Clive's big books, his movies are... yeah. Even Hellraiser was meh to me. The only movie I like based on his stuff is the one that everyone hates, Lord or Illusions. When I watched Candyman, my thought was, this is a rip off of Bloody Mary, and apparently if you stay away from ghetto public restrooms, you're golden here. So, no threat to me, so no interest, I guess. And I'm allergic to bees, so I'm not going to be going anywhere I see them.

I love Lord of Illusions. Nightbreed is pretty good too.

Hellraiser I dig for sure, but I honestly can take or leave it. I think Hellraiser 2 is better. The rest are pretty bad.

See, out of all those I only agree with you on Lord of Illusions.

I liked the terrible Hellraiser sequels way better than the original. When he went to space? Amazing. When he showed up at that goth rave? Exquisite.

I love all the Candymans, I love Lord of Illusions, don't even get me started on Nightbreed.... ah fuck I love most Clive Barker based movies. I do love Hellraiser, but I think the issue Hellraiser has is that the execution is not as great as the overall idea. I love it, but I recognize that some of that love is based in nostalgia.... and honestly that probably goes for all of that era of Barker movies. They all came out at just the right time for me.

Finally watched the trailer. I am intrigued. I am not a huge Jordan Peele fan honestly, so his producing and writing in this is worrisome a bit. it does seem like a solid addition to the series though and it will bring more legitimacy to it I guess. Not enough Tony Todd in the trailer though.

Honestly, me too. There's not a film in the series that I was disappointed in. Even part three.
