I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Loved this one, great action, good acting, great monster. Not scary by any means but I don't think it was meant to be scary, more action-oriented. Highly recommended.

I saw this like 90 years ago, I remember liking it. Can't say much about it beyond that. :toot:

This.

I remember really liking it when I first saw it, and I need to give it another watch. I hope it holds up.

It doesn't blow, but as it's a French movie I can see why you might think that. I used to own it, but I sold it way back ago. Kind of wish I hadn't because I'd like to watch it again soon, just so I can add something productive to this thread.

If you can stand it being dubbed in English and watching their mouths speak French then you might like it.

DJ is a British Major General and thus hates everything French. He and his man servant Clive are the reason the British call it "Fish and crisps", not "Fish and French Fries". Long story.

Well that would be a really ignorant reason not to watch a movie.

Well, maybe for people like you and me, but DJ's a 6th generation Tea Lord (hence the Major Generalship and man servant) and they're a different breed all together. Horror Talk celebrates the diversity of all our members. From fudge packers like Sham, racists like Shiki to British Nobility like DJ, we accept every one.

I get that, I'm from a family of hillbilly racists and even though I think they are ignorant, self-absorbed, bigoted assholes, I still care about them.
