The main character is supposed to be the Sawyer baby from 1974. That would put her at almost 40. But the bitch is my age.
I actually enjoyed the movie, but what the fuck were they thinking here?

EVIL DEAD (2013)

After watching the trailer I was really looking forward to see this. A slicker and more bleak remake of one of my favourite Horror films? Just bring it on already. Overall the remake delivered what I had expected with exception of the atmosphere and pacing. The whole thing is not just slicker than the original; It borders on feeling sterile. Even blood and vomit galore can't change that. The other thing that bothered me slightly is how the film is paced and how the roles of protagonist/antagonist shift and focus on certain characters with it. This allows for a surprise ending which differs greatly from the Original's, but also feels like a drag in some scenes and rushed in others. EVIL DEAD is still a good movie with some nods to other genre greats, a unique approach to the source material and one of the best

skull fucking
scenes ever.

Evil Dead remake

Relentlessly violent and squirm inducing. Lots of bashing, banging, puncturing, slicing, ripping and tearing.
Everyone on staff of this flick should remake Fulci's City of the Living Dead.

I give it two retracted testicles way up (inside my body).

Jayson (DamnationDoormat) did a great piece on this. In particularly lovely because he's one of the ZOMG STOP REMAKES guys.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

yeah, I don't get the hate.

this is the kind of "too much" I can get behind.

Gratuitous female nudity would have made this a "must buy, and get the poster and a coffee mug" for me. Their loss.

Bloody Birthday

Caught this one streaming on Netflix. I was surprised by it. It pussied out in a few key moments, especially towards the end when the heroes go head to head with the murderous children, but I admired it for the most part.

 at the IMDB synopsis:
Lacking consciences because they were born during a solar eclipse, a trio of 10-year-olds embark on an indiscriminate killing spree.

That's one of my favorite bad flicks!

Caught it awhile back as a Turner Classic Movie Underground movie. It did pussy out a few times, I agree. However, it is the only movie I know of that has Julie Brown naked in it, and not just a quick glimpse but gratuitous. You're probably too young and too gay to realize it Sham, but in the mid to late 80's she was on MTV and motherfucking bangable.

I KNOW WHO JULIE BROWN IS.

She was the lesbian coach in Clueless and a guest judge on Rupaul's Drag Race.

Which Julie Brown? Redhead Julie Brown or Downtown Julie Brown (both were hot as hell).

Red head. No wubba wubba wubba. She's in the first third of the movie, so you don't have to wait long to see her. She strips and dances naked around her bed room for awhile while the little kids perv out on her. Sorry, spoiler alert!
