I don't ever remember really watching this when I was a kid, but I've started it now. I'm about three episodes in. I don't know if I like it or not. I mean, the acting and scripts are good, but his whole schtick annoys the fuck out of me. I'm wondering if I'll get used to it.

And each episode feels like it's 3 hours long.

Okay, he's growing on me. Because he's a dick. Period. He's a condescending dick.

He literally tells the bad guy every episode how he's going to catch them, and where they fucked up. And I'm starting to like that.

I still don't understand how these episodes are 3 hours long even though it says 1 hour.

The stars are crazy on this.

Johnny Cash was on last night's ME TV episode. I didn't watch it, but noticed it flipping channels. Yeah I think you hit upon his popularity. I should watch the show again, it's been a long time. I think they made like a thousand movies too.
