I also never realized that Tina, Jimmy, Jr. and Zeke are a love triangle. Tina has a crush on Jimmy of course, but Zeke also has a crush on Tina, and Jimmy likes both of them in an indeterminate way

It makes so much more sense now that I realize the love triangle. That's why Zeke's always telling her where J Ju's going to be and what they're going to be doing. He knows she'll show up. He's not being overly enthusiastic, he's trying to lure Tina to hang out with them. This show has so many layers

I'd started this last season finally, and I still think it's not that great. Mainly due to Gene. But.... There's an episode where Gene has a friend that he has to dump because he's "too much". Gene keeps going off on him all episode. Then the kid tells him he dumped Gene because Gene was way too much. And Gene realized he was super annoying and was part of the problem. And that he really needed to tone himself down. Then the rest of the family talked him out of that and said he can be annoying some times but he's okay.

Fucking Belchers. Gene finally got it and then nope.

I'm going to start from the beginning and figure out where Gene jumped the shark. Because he's FAR more annoying now than he was when the series began.

Like, I really like the Beefsquatch episode, and Gene is being Gene. And another favorite is when he became that cheerleader. Lots of funny lines there.

But when we get to, say, the very episode you're talking about, he's super fucking annoying. Chill out, Gene, you're an asshole.

I'd be interested in what you find. It snuck in on us and stayed. There had to be a time when there wasn't enough Gene, and they sought to change that. We liked it, but then we didn't. And I bet it happened at some point mid season, and then when they came back the next season we started not to like it. No idea when that would be though

Watching the first episode, and everybody is sick of Gene from the get go. People on the street hate his actions and Bob gets really annoyed by them. I'm thinking they read this thread and redid all of the scripts and episodes to prove us wrong and that Gene always has been too much.

And then Bob tells Gene to go serve the child molester customer instead of Louise, because Gene's heavy and nobody would want to molest him.

Skipping through the first few episodes they also don't change the name of the exterminator on the van. The store next door changes every time but the van is always the same, Rat's All, Folks.

Oh JFC. In episode 6 we find out that Jimmy pesto visits transvestite prostitutes and uses the name baby num num. How did I forget all about that?

I'm watching the one where Gene becomes little Bob. The other story is really lame, but Gene as Bob is hilarious.

This shows all the actors and all the voices they've done. I can usually recognize Bob's voice in other characters, but a lot of this is kind of funny and surprising. I never would've guessed that Michael Bolton from Office Space did so many side characters on the show. Or that the guy who does Teddy does a lot of characters like Gretchen and the old lady from the craft store
