Late Night With the Devil

Post by Alien Redrum »

RomcomDAN just posted this news.

HOLY FUCK, I'm all in. This feels like it's gonna nail that '70s feel like The Love Witch did with '60s horror.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Looks interesting,can’t wait.
Stare at the dark too long and you will eventually see
WHAT ISN’T THERE.

Hell is empty and all the devils are here.

This is now getting cancelled because they used some AI art in still images that appeared as interstitials for ad breaks.

Funnily enough, when we were watching this, my daughter pointed out they looked like AI.

I don't think it really is though. I've not seen anything about it in my small part of the horrorverse, which means nothing. But also the people they say are crying about AI art are the same people who will spend hundreds of dollars on AI art if it's cute and it has their favorite character. So Variety is not fooling me. I sort of think this may be free publicity for the movie. It doesn't say a lot or provide much proof. I think this is a non-event designed to make people outraged and watch the movie.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I'm not sure how I feel about the guy in it but he definitely has a weird energy that gets through film. I remember the first time I saw him was that Batman movie, and he stood out in his 7 seconds of film time.

Now I have seen a couple of reposts crying about this. But they appeared after that article and I wouldn't be surprised if they were inspired by the article and wanted to jump in to white knight it for some reason. I'm still mainly standing by my statement that this is all manufactured rage.
