I haven't read him yet, but I hear a lot of good stuff about his Southern Reach trilogy, so this was too good to pass up.
You can get like 11 books for 18 bucks at Humble Bundle. Or you can spend $1 for one book.
Jeff Vandemeer Book Bundle starts at $1.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Thanks for posting this. I think I'm going to take the offer that is $0 for 0 books. Nothing against the author or the series, I just feel like they could do better on the price.
I had actually wanted to watch the movie based on the first book of the Southern reach series, but Netflix has it set for only people who pay not to have ads. When you go to try and play it if you are on an ad based account, you get a message saying it is illegal to show this on an ad-based platform due to licensing restrictions, or some such nonsense. But oddly enough you can play it on Tubi which is an ad-based platform and it's perfectly legal and fine.
