The dialog is just SO cringe. I mean, I don't mind any of the many glaring plot holes, and John Malkevich is awesome in ANYTHING he's in, but this...is so bad.
It sucks. The action is rock solid still, and the cast is a.may.zing. but the only one showing up is Malkevich. I honestly can't blame any of the others, though, because that script is fucking horrible.
It's interesting. At first, I thought, "Wait, but Top Gun and Days of Thunder still hold up, and those are as ridiculous as Con Air in their own way." But then I realized Simon West directed Con Air, and he's no Tony Scott.
