Anyone watching this? This is the new show from whatever her name is from that Charlie show she makes with her gay husband. Honestly can't remember any of these names
I'm watching it right now and it's pretty okay so far. It's nothing new, it's one of those a civilian helps cops show and everybody hates each other because the civilian is always right and smarter than the cops.

Re: High Potential
This looks absolutely terrific. It's like Elementary, but Sherlock is white trash.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Re: High Potential
Yeah, that's it exactly
It was a good show, and if they can keep it up it will be good. It's entirely nothing original, and yeah, it's like all of those other shows that have ripped off Sherlock Holmes where you've got an ultra smart "consulting detective" who notices everything. Elementary, Medium, Monk, etc. all of those.
I think this one will work because they have kind of a new take on that entire thing, which is while it's jumping in to that pool feet first, it's also sort of satirizing it. Good cast too, so hopefully it will stick around.

Re: High Potential
The thing that gets me about this and I could see ultimately becoming really annoying, is that she dresses like a late '70s early '80s prostitute almost all of the time. I think they need to work on that a little, because it's kind of over the top by the time the episode ends, and anyone seeing her with the police would think that she was a hooker they arrested.

Re: High Potential
I just posted a comment questioning this and then saw that he's coming up in the next 9 episodes. I wonder if he's replacing the guy from the pilot, I hope so because I didn't like him. I also don't want them to get rid of Carla from Scrubs because I like her.Alien Redrum wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2024 11:56 pm Holy hell! Garret Dillahunt is in this too. I love that guy.

I'm watching ep2 of this right now and it's a very solid episode. But dammit. She's dressed like an 80's streetwalker and it takes me out of the story.
