LE 70s/80s TV seasons for $20 at Bestbuy.

Post by Alien Redrum »

Anyone see these?

I was at Bestbuy last night and they had a good selection of 70s/80s first season TV shows in a limited edtion metal lunchbox package for $20 each.

I saw:

Silver Spoons
Good Times
The Partridge Family
The Facts of Life
Starsky & Hutch
Different Strokes
Fantasy Island
Charlie's Angels

I picked up Starksy & Hutch, and probably would have picked up Fantasy Island and Charlie's Angels if I didn't already own them. Even if you don't want the lunchbox, $20 is a pretty good deal. (It may have been in the ad for $20, but I'm pretty sure that's the regular price on these, fwiw.)

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Did you tell them I said to go fuck themselves?

Just wondering.

I told the lady at the UPS Store to go fuck herself today. Mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Clearly our bond reaches beyond Watchmen.

No. I actually thanked them for their service to you. There was only one Starsky & Hutch left, and if they hadn't treated you so poorly, you might have bought it leaving me with nothing. :( :yay:

FWIW, they shoved the boxset inside the lunchbox, so if you don't want the lunchbox, the DVDs are still shelvable. $20 for some of these is a good deal.

And please everyone, buy a Silver Spoon set and mail the lunchbox to TGM.
