What did you just watch (non-horror)?

If it's not horror, this is the place!

What did you just watch (non-horror)?

Post by Alien Redrum »

In the middle of Red, based on the book by Jack Ketchum.

Pretty fucking good so far, with a stellar cast.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

I think we all know how reliable your sources are.

Tonight I watched Unknown. More or less a by-the-numbers mystery, but it has a pretty good cast including Barry Pepper, Jeremy Sisto (albeit underused), Mark Boone Junior (see Sisto), Jim Cavezial, Joey Pants, Greg Kinnear and a few "that guys". Worth a rent when your first choice is out.

Good cast. Was the mystery compelling and not too easy to figure out?

Actually it is not a bad movie at all, the cast is really good and helps to hold it togather. Worth the rental price for sure.

Yeah. Cast definitely made it much better than it was.

I went to see Bolt with Marisa. I liked it, but I like cartoons. And I have a soft spot for slightly off-kilter dogs, owning one. Plus, I'm like 7 years old, mentally.

I saw Wanted last night.

Holy hell, is this movie fun. Lived up to all of my expectations, and I felt Jolie was really good in this, even though she didn't have a lot of lines.

Some nice nods to Daywatch/Nightwatch, too.

Awesome flick, though. 4.5/5.

It would have gotten a 5/5, but the fact that a bread truck kept up with a sports car bothered me. A lot. And my ex-bro-inlaw kept calling me stupid because I could buy the angling bullet theory, but not this.

Good to hear that you liked Wanted, I bought it "blind" and am planning to watch it this weekend with the "boss".

I did watch HULK this morning and I thought it rocked. I give the first Hulk movie around a 4 out of 10 but this one is easily a 7.5 to 8. The only thing I didnt like about it was Liv Tyler as Betty. She was a tad annoying, and she is a 2 face.

I watched it, too, and I more or less co-sign this.

Especially the part about AR being stupid.
