What did you just watch (non-horror)?

If it's not horror, this is the place!

The Fog of War - I thought it was OK but I don't think I'll ever watch it again.

That is correct. Just "eh". If I wanted to listen to an old guy talk about stuff that happened years before I was born for an hour and a half I'd call up DVDJunkie.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

MACHETE

Fun, but highly uneven and flawed. Just like every other Rodriguez film. Lindsay Lohan was awesome though. I want some over-the-top b-movie starring her and Charlie Sheen.

THE A-TEAM

Forgettable fluff. The only thing probably won't forget is that faux Arab sheiks seem to like it if a car offers neither leg- nor headroom. Why else would he decide that it is a good idea to get driven around in the back of Mercedes CLS?

That's why Clarkson doesn't review films.

HANNA

Sleek, cool and somber, with spikes of violence and hope. More poetic than Jason Bourne's exploits and more focused on the people in the espionage trade, than the actual trade itself. Perfectly scored by the Chemical Brothers. Good film, that might tell a little bit too much about it's heroine's background, robbing her of some mystique, but still delivers.

Definitley want to see Hanna, still.

Watched GI Joe tonight. Not as horrific as I thought it would be, but still pretty bad. Worth the $4 I paid for it, though.

See it in the cinema. There are some awesome shots in there, that will most definitely profit from the big screen.

Fantastic ensemble action film; Morgan Freeman got not enough scenes though.

Battle Los Angeles

Complete and utter brain dead action flick. But it looks REALLY good on BLU and the effects and sound are great. I got it as a "3 for 21" deal at Family Vid, its worth a rental at least.
