Still reading Crossroads (great!), Echoes (moving slow, hit or miss) and The Highway Kind (just kind of reading this at night, but already discovered a new author I'll read more from).

Also started this for review. Holy fuck am I all in:

I'm really digging Monstre. So far the Large Hadron Collider blew up, and now monsters are coming through the void. Two things I like.

Monstre is a bit of a beast HAHAHAHAH PUNS!, so I took a side quest and read this in about a night:

Definitely dug it. It has three stories by Stephen Graham Jones, Philip Fracassi, and Renee Miller, and it has a cool little wraparound that has a cryptkeeper-like character.

Started two more with MONSTRE on the edge of completion:

The Black Klansman I'm listening to on audiobook (just a couple buck from Chirp!). It's read by the author and I'm digging it. I liked the movie a lot, so I'm interested in the differences.

The Headless Boy is Kelli Owen's latest and is for review. I dig her work quite a bit.

Finished up the audiobook of Aliens: Bug Hunt. Pretty damn good, made even better by the fantastic narrators.

Solid, solid lineup of authors.

Finished up MONSTRE and The Black Klansman. I have a review coming on the former. The latter...I listened to it on audiobook and as a book it's pretty good, but the author narrated the book and that was just okay. He was clipped at times, and it was obvious he was reading. I know that sounds silly, but it shouldn't be obvious that someone is reading when listening to an audiobook.

Anyway, there was stuff in the book that didn't make it to the movie, which was pretty interesting. And something in the movie most definitely didn't happen in the book. I'll give it :3.5stars:.

Next up I'm jumping into a few for review (including The Headless Boy):

And one for the hell of it:

Banged this one out in about 15 minutes. Pretty decent for a free short story with nods to both Lovecraft and Guy N. Smith.

I don't know if Neon will see this, but I truly believe he would like Jeff Strand's work. Every time I read Strand, someone will say something that I can see Neon posting.
What kind of teenager was asleep before midnight on a Saturday? She deserved to die just for that.

That's precisely why I will never read him.
