I was on YouTube today looking for a particular Miami Vice scene, and I came across a bonus scene with Julian Beck that, while I thought was a major score because of its awesomeness, I didn't think to look for it because I figured nobody would have cared to post it.

That got me to thinking how fanfuckingtastic Beck was in Poltergeist 2 and, even though Poltergeist 2 wasn't that bad, he could have been even scarier in a better film.

Which leads me to this thread. What are some really good characters or scenes that are wasted in mediocre or shit movies?

First, for me, is the obvious Beck as Kane in Poltergeist 2.



Holy hell does that guy rock. Imagine what could have been if it wasn't Poltergeist 2. :(
