I also thought Book of Eli was pretty boring.
Wait, the book of eli, or the book about the road?

I really liked the book The Road. I couldn't put it down. I think I read it in maybe 2 sittings. I'm pretty sure it bored you because there were not pictures.

Both.

You're right. No pictures = No Sale. However, it felt like nothing happened in The Road. Just some dude and his kid walking for awhile.

Yeah, they were on a road. What were they supposed to do, sit there and wait to be eaten?

There was lots of walking, and that was kind of part of the magic of the book. It really did feel like nothing happened, but at the end of it, you realize a whole shit load happened. It wasn't like Twilight where nothing happens, and at the end you can't remember it, because there is nothing to remember, because literally nothing happened.

Soooo... in your mind, all end of the world films are boring and depressing?

I'm not asking for it to be "happy go lucky", I'm just asking for it to be interesting and exciting, The Road is neither.

As you are fond of saying, that's your opinion. I thought it was very interesting, and I'm not sure how you missed the tension (excitement) that ran through out the film. Again, that's just your opinion.

Yep, guess I missed that for sure, just didn't keep me interested.
