SCREAM!

Post by walls »

Watching the original three films on BLU, so far I have finished just the first and I must admit that I have forgotten just how much fun this was. While not the BEST slasher film ever (Halloween is still mine) it still ranks pretty high on the list, for me at least.
Of course it loses some of its luster when one already knows how it ends but thats OK because I have ZERO memory on the next two. So that should make up for it.

As for the BLU sound and pic quality..........looks like I thought it would.......upscaled older film. Soundwise its nothing special.

How do they compare pic wise to the original DVDs?

The Scream movies are some of my favorite slashers. They're perfect for what they're supposed to be, and a lot of fun.

IMO if you find them like I did for $7 each then they are worh the upgrade or if you dont own them already. They cleaned them up quite a bit from what I can see on the first one but its not nearly the difference I have seen on some other films.

I'll have to check them out when they come around again as a deal. I've got the original set, but if I remember correctly, they're not anamorphic.

Same here. I like them all, but the first is still the best.
