I watched this on Netflix tonight. What a flaming piece of poop.

I think 95% of it was filmed on the same 3 blocks in downtown Spokane. The rest of it was filmed on someone's driveway in the woods. So many ridiculous things in this movie, I can't just pick my favorite. So stupid. These people are not Wolverines.

My only thought about anything asian with this movie is...

A) Every largish city on the west coast that I've been to (which includes Spokane) has a large asian presence with asian businesses all throughout the city, with signs and billboards in various asian languages. Not to mention more pho and pad thai places than Burger Kings. It makes me wonder if maybe that's why they shot it all on the same 3 blocks. That may have been the only part of Spokane that didn't have signage which would confuse hoopleheads.

B ) If N. Korea can raise an army that can hold Spokane, let alone the rest of the US, good for them. They deserve it. Fuck the Wolverines, those N. Koreans are motherfucking gods.

C) The only racist thing about this movie was that none of the Wolverines were asian, which about 1/3 of their town and school would be. So obviously they kept the asians out on purpose. I bet they only let the black kid in because he sold them weed.



I was talking to a guy I work with about this movie today. He's 24. He loved it, and hadn't seen the original. I was telling him about the differences, and how mainly it was a lot more brutal than this movie. He asked how so. I told him how with the new one, they found out Darryl had a tracking device in him and they sent him on his way so they wouldn't get caught, but in the original they merely suspected he did, so they murdered him and used his dead body to make an ambush for the soldiers who were tracking them. He was genuinely shocked about how awful that was.

As I watched this all I could think about was how in the hell was the south side of Chicago gonna get taken down? Those fuckers there be all kinds of crazy!!

The movie was ridiculous, the post's by the "Patriotic" idiots was even worse.

WATCH THIS, IT'S ON NETFLIX: Tomorrow When the War Began

This is an Australian rip off of Red Dawn. They aren't ashamed of it, one of the kids makes a Wolverine joke. This movie fucking rocks the cocks out of socks. It's not better than the original Red Dawn, but it tears the remake to shreds. Being Australian it's got some great car stunts too. Watch this right now. RIGHT NOW.
