Mann has closed a deal to direct and Hemsworth to star in the project Mann co-wrote with Morgan Davis Foehl.
The storyline is said to revolve around cyber-terrorism. Other plot details are being kept under wraps, including Hemsworth’s role.
Thomas Tull, Mann and Jon Jashni will produce. The company's Alex Garcia is exec producing.

That's interesting. I was under the impression (surrendered willingly) that the critics (even if it was just the language-of-cinema crowd) thought Miami Vice was a modern masterpiece. I haven't seen it and am pretty much just ready to accept anything that's at least better than Michael Bay's Pain & Gain. Which I thought sucked. More than just my brain cells. Out through my ears, eyes, nose. (And any other available, less accessible orifices.)

I like Pain and Gain a lot; so much better than those Transformers trainwrecks. I would like to see more like this from him to see if how skilled he can be without 'splosions.
