Cowboys vs Aliens - SPOILERS

I jusst watched this. This is stupid as hell. Gold is probably one of the most common elements in the universe, the aliens wouldn't come here and try to mine it. There's asteroids and all kinds of gold shit flying around. It's rare here because we don't have a lot of it. In the solar system, it's all over the fucking place. They wouldn't come here. And if aliens did want gold from the earth, and they came here to get it, chances are they'd have some kind of crazy machine that somehow destroys the world and let's them suck all the gold up, and it would take like 40 minutes or something, so they could have a pizza afterwards. I don't know who'd deliver the pizza though, because the earth just got blown up.

Besides just not being all that good it seemed LONG AS FUCK. The action was entertaining but I wouldnt bother to watch it again.

You know what? Now that I think about it, I'm going to disagree.

It seems like 2 of the stock western characters are a whiny bitch British man, and and old rich cattle/gold/water guy. That's James Bond and Indiana Jones right there. Instead of their being a hero character like Clint or John would play, we have to dael with the 2 supporting characters, and they pretty much suck.

I agree for this movie, but not the old west as a whole. Those people were gritty adventurous fucking pioneers that shot at each other in the OK Corral with handlebar face hair and shit. And then at the end of the day they would drink whiskey and do a whore in a galvenized tub filled with warm soapy dirty water.
And then the next day they would have a standoff in a graveyard in the desert while chewing on a shitty cigar and listening to some dude whistling some awsome fucking tune before trying to off each other for ten pieces of gold. And finally they would cross a raging river.......ON A FUCKING HORSE!

this movie was a huge disappointment.
