You probably think Family Plot is great too.Alien Redrum wrote:It's not my favorite of Hitchcock's (I'm probably one of the few that actually likes The Birds more because it has better dialog), but this one is still brilliant. Highly recommended.
Are you sure you read the book? The characters are night and day.Neon Maniac wrote:I don't see this as a Hitchcock film, to tell you the truth. Rear Window, Vertigo, etc. are Hitchcock films. This is a Bloch film made by Hitchcock. I liked the movie until I read the book, then I loved both. This is something all horror fans really need to see.

I didn't really like Bloch's Norman. He wasn't scary or creepy at all. He was just a loser.
Give him a break, wallsbot has a limited life span. He doesn't have time to watch every movie. Blonde's poor programming skills made wallsbot choose the wrong one to watch. He can't help that. Blame Blonde.shiki-jitsu wrote:Jesus Christ. No.walls wrote:I saw the frame by frame remake, does that count?
Did you really just use the "you didn't get it" argument?Neon Maniac wrote:Alien Redrum wrote:Are you sure you read the book? Yes, I'm sure I read the book. Apparently I may have understood it a little better than some other people who may have read the book. I really wouldn't call it night and day. Anthony Perkins really nailed the role, and like the great actor he was, he made Norman all his own. I think you may have read the book and not appreciated it because the gimmick was already ruined for you.
Yes I did! Kudos to you good sir for seeing it for what it was!Alien Redrum wrote:
