Anyone watching Orange Is the New Black? It's been entertaining, but also not at all credible.

I'm liking it, mainly because Peta or Purple or whatever the fuck the blonde's name is is really far back this season.

I'm also digging the backstory of the hard ass.

That said, the season is kind of dragging. I would have knocked it out in one day, but it's not on fire like it has been.

I still LOVE Flacca and whatsherface though. Marisol?

I finished it yesterday. This season was kind of aggravating. I liked seeing a lot more of characters who had been minor in the past. I hate Pooper, and always watched the show for the B story lines. I was very happy that this season she was the B story line and really had no impact on anything.

I really liked Flaca and the other girl this season, and the old survivalist lady too. I thought the back stories they did this time were good too. But beyond that, I thought the overall premise of the show was terrible and it kind of made it suck. I though it was kind of cartoonish and entirely unrealistic to the point of it being difficult to watch sometimes.

I'm glad they got rid of the Martha Stewart lady, and the ending was enough to make me watch next season to see what happens.

The show made me buy a bag of Takis Fuego. They were muy caliente.

I agree with you on all points. I think I'm okay with it (more than you) is because of what you said on Facebook, and I put my expectations really low.

I think if I hadn't read your thoughts, I would have been 100% with you, but since I had low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm REALLY hoping they are beefing up the B stories so when Piper gets released, they can carry on. Her character and her girlfriend are the absolute worst part of the show. Hell, they can bring her brother in instead of her. He's a better character.

And the little prison/catholic girl school outfits Flacca and Maritiza wear are goddamn hot.

I felt the writers had no direction or idea for an over all story arc for this season, but they had a lot of good B lines and bits and that's what we ended up with. I have no problems with that, I thought the show was pretty entertaining. It was just a bit hard for me to believe that it all took place in 3 days, and really anything having to do with the whole prison takeover idea.

I had the same idea that you did, that maybe this was a transition for them getting rid of Pooper and the annoying girlfriend. I hope so. I could see them bringing all these other people to the forefront to see who the mains should be going forward. I liked getting earlier background on Red and Frieda, too.

I didn't like the MCC woman in this very much. She seems very disposable.
