So I'm thinking that Dog did find the guy, only they got into a fight and Dog ended up killing him with his bare hands. He got scared and threw the body in the swamp, and that's when he went home citing an ankle injury. An ankle injury I bet he got while fighting Laundrie.

That would be awesome if Shiki could find out at Thanksgiving. I bet Dog gets a couple of bourbons into him and starts talking about all the guys he accidentally killed.
