Lost a full star thanks to the last 10 minutes. Why you people do these things?
Lost 4.5 stars for the first 40 mins which was about all I could stomach. Terrible.

That said, Bounty is on Tubi if you want to see me on the big screen. :yay:

Finally watched the first episode of Midnight Mass on Netflix. Not much to it, as it's starting its story. That last scene, though, is a damn doozy.

Had a bit of a Peter Jackson double bill this weekend with Bad Taste and Braindead (Dead Alive). I didn't love the former as much as I once did, it's an achievement in low budget filmmaking for sure but there are some scenes that just stretch things out too much with neither the budget nor the direction to make them engaging (mainly the shoot out at the house near the end). Braindead, on the other hand, is a significant jump in quality (no surprise given the budget increase from $25k to $3m) and still stands up as a manic gorefest from the early 2000s.

Also watched There's Someone In Your House, the new slasher movie on Netflix. An absolutely by-the-numbers horror joint that delivers precisely zero new ideas apart from updating the highschool archetypes to include a non-binary/gender fluid character.

I'd really love to see a new official disc release of this in the US. Such an under appreciated gem.

You're lucky you got out early. Such a disappointing Hallmark movie bullshit end.

Did you know there is a Birds 2? I didn't. It's on Tubi and it's directed by Alan Smithee. This oughta be good.

OMG, the father's daughters just came up to him in a store with a couple of Twinkies and asked if they could get them. He said, "How about just one."

He's making his daughters share a fucking Twinkie.

It's SO BAD. Tippi is out here acting like she's never seen birds acting freaky before. And why the fuck she's even living on the island is beyond me.

Watching Kevin Kangas' Bounty on Tubi. Definitely good in its own right, but one scene elevates it to 325 stars.

I think you're too close to Bounty to see what a load of crap that movie is.

Moving on to Terrortory. Terrortoy 2 is far superior, but if I'm gonna watch part two, I'm gonna watch part one.
