I'm about halfway through this and I have to say I am not hating it. I was concerned with some of the teasers they had released, and a lot of the reviews online are not super great. Maybe my expectations are low and I honestly have not seen the anime in probably close to 20 years now, but I am digging it. Yoko Kanno's score is fantastic as always. But I do feel like they captured the characters pretty well. From my memory there have been some changes with the storytelling, but I recall that Bebop (anime) was really great when taken as a whole story. Yes there were some fillers in there, but the story wrapped together really well, and was one of the strongest amine series in that regard. Hopefully this will do the same, I will see soon enough.

It wasn’t the worst thing. I would have watched a second season probably.
The last 5 mins almost made me want to gouge out my eyes, and would have made the second season unwatchable probably. But it would have gave it a chance.

It's was no Squid Game, that's for sure.
It's too bad this didn't get at least 1 more season. I think once people realized there would be no gratuitous cooch shots of Faye, a lot of those people lost interest.
