Shit. That was it. I'm gonna keep it though. Vanity turned into a horror show.Neon Maniac wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:15 am I have never seen it. I have no idea what it's about. I'm betting it's about somebody named Jackson. Are you thinking of the 80s action movie starring what's her name from Prince videos, Action Jackson?

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Re: 2022 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread
Updating this with some trailers of stuff I watched at Grimmfest. These were the highlights.
The Loneliest Boy in the World
A loner tries to find new friends after the death of his mother, but turns to the local cemetery to find them.
Candy Land - NSFW Trailer
A group of sex workers at a remote truck stop (aka Candy Land) take in a young girl who's an ex-cult member. In the meantime, a serial killer is picking off people who frequent the venue
The Goldsmith
A gang of thieves break into the house of an elderly Goldsmith and his wife, but end up getting more than they bargained for.
The Price We Pay - No Trailer
A heist-gone-wrong movie directed by Ryuhei Kitamura (Midnight Meat Train, No One Lives, Downrange) that ends up on a farm where it's harvest time. But the farmers aren't harvesting crops...
The Harbinger
The Witch in the Window director Andy Mitton returns with a COVID lockdown-set story about a haunting dream of a sinister figure.
Vesper
Lo-fi science fiction set in a dystopian future where man has caused the collapse of earth's ecosystem. A young girl named Vesper holds the skills and the knowledge to change mankind's future for the better, if only mankind would let her succeed.

Holy shit, it's like they are just getting worse. I'm just watching at this point to check out the early roles of some of the guest stars that pop up.

Re: 2022 Halloween Horror Movie Challenge Discussion Thread
TBH, I'm pretty sure I only watched a few of these back when they aired, and I bet I gave up. Then history made me think it was badass because of Freddy Krueger. But it's not. However, Mariska Hargitay did a sexy dance in episode 4, so there's some good to this show. Just not enough for me to keep watching many more episodes. It's so bad.
