I can't wait until he loses his job working with high school kids after they find out he's also a pimp. I haven't read this book since 1984, so I'm hoping none of my 'predictions' are just latent memories. But I really want Johnny to have a girlfriend who ends up being a hooker. And Mack will have a talk with him about how their mom and sister were hookers, and how much he liked hookers, and that he should just accept that she's now a hooker for the mob and take her to prom anyways. Only, Mack and Lou are going to have to to charge him, of course.

OH! I can't remember if it was Mack Bolan or that Wish Mack Bolan that described someone's fingers as little sausages. I busted out laughing and wondered if they were made of soap.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

 I think that was in the Mark book. All the fat mobsters had sausage fingers.

Book 2, Chapter 1
Spoiler:

If you're still tired of reading "The Executioner" over and over, this chapter will hold very little for you.

FWIW, "Matthews" is becoming my The Executioner. What a stupid term. The Matthews. WTF, Mack? This is your idea of a good nickname?

Lt. Weatherbee is becoming my favorite character. I'm picturing him exactly as Mr. Weatherbee from Archie comics. He's a fucking badass.

I love how an unknown amount of time has passed and Mack is living in his apartment in the trendy "Library District"

What happened to his brother? I guess 14 yo Johnny's just living alone in the home where his dad killed everybody? That's got to be mentally healthy for him.

No word on how the matthews found him out, they just did. We all knew it was going to happen, so why bother writing that part?

You will soon enough.

Sorry, this is a super quick read. I think the actual book is only about 180 pages.

B2 C2
Spoiler:

Wow, the .444 marlin is shattering wheels on cars

"I want to leave a messsage"
"Let me get a paper and a pen"
"No, this is a simple message"
Then goes on to leave a long and confusing message
I'm sorry I'm getting too far ahead. I've literally just been sitting here drinking coffee with the news on and reading this. It's impossible to stop and a chapter is like 4 pages

If you aren't on book 2 yet, don't worry you will be in about 12 pages.

Don't start a new thread, just leave it here. It's still the actual Book #1 of the series. They just have it divided into 3 'books' internally. If you're reading the Kindle edition with the first 3 books, this isn't me reading the 2nd book in the series, this is just book 2 of book #1. Like acts.

He totally penetrates!

"The Matthews would surely recognize that fact now. They'd been penetrated, and they damn well know it."

They all know who he is and who is brother is, and where they all live. WTF Mack?

Okay, I'm with you now. You read the penistrader so fast, I thought you blew through this one too. *whew*

I didn't want you so far ahead. Then it's no fun and I'm sensitive.

I'm like 30 pages ahead of the tiger bedspring comment. This is a small book.

Definitely not trying to rush through it, but damn it's hard not to the way this is set up and how quickly it moves. I just finished Ch 4 and it was just a phone call between Mack and Weatherbee.

I'll stop now and let you catch up
