I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

Re: Raising Hope
I just realized this today. Martha's real life dad, Keith Carradine, plays Garret Dillahunt's dad on Fear the Walking Dead.

Re: Raising Hope
Yeah, that's why she looks the way she does. Which is a horrible way to say that She's got the Carradine skull doesn't sound much better
She didn't know who her dad was and her mom wasn't going to tell her, but then she hit the age where she looked exactly like her dad and they told her before it was just assumed.

Yea, I honestly had no idea she was a Carradine. Makes sense.

That's insane. She should have been in The Long Riders too!

Re: Raising Hope
Yeah, it was a similar situation as Steven and Liv Tyler. Martha's mom was separated and working with Keith on a play, they got briefly involved, he went to California for a job and she found she was pregnant and got back together with her husband so they didn't say anything and didn't need/want Keith in her life. Then Martha's mom and dad got divorced and her mom brought Keith in to meet her. She was like 5 or so I think. She's also related to everyone famous named plimpton, regardless of how they spell it.
This made me look at his IMDb
He also worked with Garret Dillahunt on Deadwood, way before Raising Hope apparently. He also did an episode of Raising Hope

Re: Raising Hope
Michael Bowen's her uncle too, but he's not a Carradine. His mom just liked to get greasy with John Carradine back in the day, before he was born and he's the younger half brother to Keith and Robert. If you look at the Carradine family tree there are a lot of 'half' people. John Carradine was really all about getting greasy with starlets from like 1920 to 1985 when his dick fell off, so about half of all the people on the east coast are related to him somehow. I'm surprised AR and Shiki aren't step/half great grandsons of his or some kind of brother/cousin of his offspring.
One of his illegitimate children, is Charlie Daniels; who you know from his numerous Grammy's and the dozens of records that he has produced.

Re: Raising Hope
And I swear to God, I first read the first sentence as "Michael Bolton's her uncle too, but he's not a Carradine."

Re: Raising Hope
Not about Raising Hope but rather My Name is Earl. I was watching it last night thinking about how Joy is one of my favorite characters on TV because of statements like this:
"...and you can do me on the pinball machine like in that porno Jodie Foster did."
Jesus Christ, I died.
