Has anyone been watching this? I can't remember if we talked about this at all.

Its the new Joel Mchale show about and Animal Control unit in Seattle. Its kind of goofy, but I have been finding it enjoyable. There was at least one Community reference so far. Its on Hulu.

Yeah I watched this. They just had their season finale I hope it gets picked up for another season.

This is the one show that Joel McHale is not all that annoying in. I usually enjoy him but most of the time it just gets to be too much Joel McHale. I like how they found an actor who looks just like him to play his father, I had to IMDb it to see if it really was his dad. I think it's got a really good cast, and while he seems to be the star of it in name, I think it's really evolved into more of an ensemble show.

Yeah, not at all like that. Everything is much more tempered and the writers are obviously not making him try to carry the show at all. It's a true ensemble show, not centered around him like Community was. From the pilot, I bet that's how they sold the show, but it's not how the show is at all. Everyone else in it is allowed to have their own lives and adventures and we get to see that, not just Joel making wise cracks about it and belittling them. I think Patel and Victoria are my favorite parts of the show. Emily is great, I liked her a lot in the Ted Danson mayor show, so I'm glad to see she ended up here and is killing it.

Agreed, Emily Victoria and Patel are the real highlights of the show. Shred can get a little annoying. Joel is annoying in the first couple of eps, but as the rest of the cast come into their roles it levels out nicely.

Yeah, Shred and I think Templeton also, come on really annoying at first but they also mellow out as the show goes on.

Okay, I just started burning through this and kind of love it. Agree with y'all 100% on Shred. I get tired of how little he knows. No one is that stupid.

But Patel? Holy FUCK he's hilarious. Victoria is my second favorite. I want to marry here. She's so goddamn cool.

I'm up to the episode where they parked the car in the VIP slot and the principal was all pissed at them.

Funny, I'd love to see some actors from Community pop up, most notably, the dean.

I just watched S2 E1. Still a good show. Highly recommend it. If you hate Joel McHale as much as I do, you'll appreciate that he's not Joel McHale in this.
