I watched the whole of season one on my flights to and from Egypt. Very good fun. I don't suppose it's as gritty as actual Jack Reacher novels (I have never read one) but I like the fact they don't hold back on some of the violence.

One of the reasons I love the show so much is they got the core stuff down.

I will say, if you like the series, you'd love the book series. He speaks even less in the books. (They actually had to add dialog for him for the show I think.

)

I LOVE Roscoe in the first season. Total badass.

I even liked the movies with Cruise. The only issue I have with those is Cruise is so fucking tiny and Reacher's size is literally a big part of his character. However, Cruise can deliver Reacher's lines with perfection. He's got the attitude.

I think the guy that plays Reacher on the show is definitely getting there. He's got the size and toughness, and he's only getting better with the delivery. I'm only two and a half episode into this second season because I'm milking it, but hot damn, it's already lots of fun.

I watched the first two episodes of S2 last night and it didn't disappoint.

I do wonder whose decision it was to have a character called Roscoe in Season 1 and Orozco in Season 2. That confused me for a while.
