Bordello Death Tales

Post by zcarstheme »

Hard at work on post-production for our segment of this anthology flick, which is shaping up to be really unusual and bloody excellent. Other than, of course, Horror DNA's own coverage (thanks DJ!), Fangoria ran some stills over here which include the first glimpses of Al Ronald's rather remarkable Stitchgirl, (absent from the teaser trailer due to market deadlines).

All going well..

Corking, is Stitchgirl being presented completely in B&W?

Not sure yet; that one's Al's baby. Guess I'll find out at the premiere!

I've seen some of the footage that is black & white though, and it looks pretty stunning.

Had the fun of sitting and watching the first assembly of Vice Day yesterday. Shaping up nicely :)

Finally got to see the rough assembly last night; all three stories with just a little tweaking left to do.

And, dammit, I'm over the moon. Really pleased. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one with a crowd; I think the phrase 'relentlessly entertaining' is what I'm looking for here, and I can't imagine any kind of genre fan feeling shortchanged no matter what they look for in their horror flicks.

I think you guys will like this one

Funny, I was going to email you and ask about how things are going with it. Guess that answers my question.

I will await my invite to the BFI with baited breath. :D

Saw the poster(s) yesterday, and I think they're fantastic. I can't show 'em to you just yet, but won't be too long now :)

They're retro-tastic.

I'm feeling a bit of 'Great Rock & Roll Swindle' mixed with early 80's VHS cover vibes going on. :D

Very nice!

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan
