FFS, how many more Machine Girl/Tokyo Gore Police shitfests are we going to have to suffer? Piss-poor production values + loads of arterial spray does not equal quality entertainment.

I feel the same way, these actually feel more made for American DVD sales/rentals than merely an extension of Japanese cult movie weirdness. It's like they're made on the mere expectation of being totally insane and that's their only reason for being.
