DON'T LOOK FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
Fuck yeah, you summed it up. I was also kind of surprised (and subsequently let down) how the screen time was distributed among the characters.

I saw it in a theater that serves alcohol. Never again will I go to a movie theater that doesn't let you bring pitchers of beer into the movie. Even if it was $17.

I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan

It's probably more badass in German, too.

Thought this was basically ok. Slightly more ok than Wolverine, but nowhere near as good as Star Trek. Or Drag Me To Hell.

There was plenty of character development. I saw John Connor turn into a British guy in the span of one movie. Where'd he get that accent?
(I thought this was by far Bale's worst performance ever--he was overacting like Jeremy Irons in D&D)

Wait wait wait, where is the Star Trek thread?

Kids piloting a spaceship. Yeah, I saw Explorers too folks. Doesn't mean it's the greatest movie evarrrr. And Explorers blew Star Trek away.

I dare someone to make a Star Trek thread. Worst. Movie. I. Seent.

Complete CORN.

"kids piloting a spaceship"--hahaha, I thought I was a crabby old man.

The people piloting that ship(if you discount the 50 year old Bruce Greenwood) are all in their 20's. (the guy playing Kirk is 28--a whole 7 years younger than Shatner when he played Kirk--it's like, eons!).

Where does kid stop? Late 30's?

I'm not sure if you were trying to make a point. I'm pretty sure I haven't piloted shit yet. Driving one's minivan around does not count as space exploration.

Edited for accuracy?

The new Spock went to my college and was the cover boy in my last alumni magazine. Was he any good?

I normally like Michael Ironside but HATED hime in this, same for Bale. Other than that it was "OK". I was disapointed that they just couldnt end the friggin' thing without opening up yet another sequel option.
