I have to say, this took me by surprise on how much I enjoyed it. I knew I would dig it, but I didn't think I would like it as much as I did.
The only thing I really didn't like was:
Spoiler:
the "connection" he had with the killer. Not the brother connection, but rather the whole dreaming part.
However, I really like:
Spoiler:
how his sister apparently now knows he's a serial killer. This will bring an entirely different dynamic to the books, I'm assuming, that the show doesn't have.
I really like how the show pretty much nailed the characters in the book (although Batista's character is sorely missed in the book). And Doakes was spot on.
I'm thinking I might make one to keep in the trunk of the car though. Might be nice to have hot water if I ever have to watch a Matthews compound for 3-4 days hoping to get the drop on Sergio Frenchi. - Neon Bolan
