Review:
Over the last few years, colouring books have become something of a trend among people who need to calm down, or busy their hands, or just like to colour. They are not limited to kids anymore. They even came in many different themes; underwater, the jungle, Frozen [Disney], mandalas, etc. Yet, there never seemed to be one that was geared towards the person that likes death and decay and the darker parts of life. That is until Alan Robert created a line of colouring books for the horror lover in all of us.
The pages are intricately drawn to give life to these images of morbidity. There is no rule that says you need to colour inside the lines, or use reds and oranges and blacks. You can make this book your own. It has 88 pages covered in skulls, potion bottles, vultures, coffins, gothic cathedrals, a scene where a man has a woman tied to a chair and is eating something that I would like to believe is human heart.
Grab yourself a glass of wine, pop in your favorite horror movie and get those pencil crayons sharpened because you have a nice relaxing night all set with this colouring book. With Halloween and Christmas just around the corner, this is the perfect to gift to give someone who likes a little scare.
