Review:
I'm just going to throw this out there: Vampire Ninjas. How's that sound? You interested? Thought so. The second issue of Dracula vs. Robin Hood vs. Jekyll & Hyde has just that and more. After travelling back in time to Sherwood Forest circa 1200, Hyde turns back into Jekyll when confronted by Robin Hood's merry men...or rather women. That's right. It turns out that the group of thieves is all hot chicks, but their image would be ruined if word got out. Robin Hood isn't the hero that legend describes him as either. He's a bit of a drunk.
Things get crazy when the aforementioned vampire ninjas (or is it ninja vampires?) show up. A huge battle takes place with beheadings and tons of gore. This is a downright fun comic to read. It's campy and ridiculously over-the-top, but it never stops being fun.
JL Czerniawski's artwork fits the tone of the story very well. There are some awkward facial expressions throughout the book, but he excels when it comes to the women. Every one of them is gorgeous and in typical comic book fashion, there's tons of cleavage.
Dracula vs. Robin Hood vs. Jekyll & Hyde is the kind of stuff you want out of comics. It's fun and epic and action-packed. This is a quick read and only available digitally, so there's no need to sift through back-issue bins to find a copy.
