There is a turning point in every kid's life when they realize their parents are actual people and not just their mom and dad. That just happened to Milo as he discovers his father is also a karate master, destined to defend the planet against evil. He's...wait for it...the Dadliest Warrior. When Milo's dad is called upon to fight in a tournament to protect the Earth, he tags along with his wizard buddy and their adventure begins.

Artist Scoot McMahon does an awesome job contrasting the powerful, confident Master Mummy of the past with the pot-bellied, fanny-pack-wearing Mr. Mummy of the present. The olden days were glorious and strong. He had a handle bar mustache and a bandanna. Nothing could stop him. Now, he's covered in pizza grease as he loafs about on the couch. Will he be able to rise up to defend his title?

Colorist Sean Dove gives the flashback scenes a lighter shade, like we're watching an old 1970s kung fu movie. It's a nice touch that plays with the pulpy aspects of this story. Dove's colors in the present really pop off the page.

As with every issue of Wrapped Up so far, this one is packed with jokes and hilarious moments. Writer Dave Scheidt has a real talent for absurd gags that works so well in this book. It's a non-stop comedy assault. Just when you're coming down from one joke, you're hit with another. This keeps the comic moving at a fast pace and it's never uninteresting.

Milo's father lives up to his role as the father figure, delivering an array of dad jokes with his punches and kicks. While his opponent is groaning over a wicked pun, he takes them out with a quick karate chop. He also has one of the most impressive finishing moves in martial arts.

Wrapped Up really is fun for all ages. It's packed with comedy that will be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Plus, this issue has a mummy fighting a bunch of ninjas while thinking about pizza. What more could you want from a comic book? I'm pretty sure that was the one thing missing from Watchmen.
