Marvel Comics is about to change its entire line with a plethora of new #1 issues from some impressive names in the comic book industry.  The supernatural corner of the Marvel Universe is getting a little push with a few titles and a new one was just unveiled in Blade.  Fans of the movie franchise or the short-lived anime series are familiar with the Daywalker vampire hunter, but this October, they'll get a chance to meet his daughter, Fallon Grey in Blade #1 from writer Tim Seeley and artist Logan Faerber.

At first glance, Fallon is nothing like her father.  She's a normal sixteen year old girl from rural Oregon.  She's captain of the debate team, nominated for prom queen.  Basically, she's the most popular girl in her class.  There's another side to Fallon though, a feeling like there's something else going on inside.  She'll get a chance to find out how right she was when supernatural forces invade her town, hunting her down, forcing her to come face-to-face with...her father, Eric Brooks, aka Blade.

The forests of Oregon are home to a new evil with a cult of scientists twisting and mutating demons, vampires, werewolves, and other creatures of the dark to make more powerful monsters.  It will take more than one Daywalker to stop them.  It looks like it's time for “Take Your Daughter to Work Day.”

The first issue of Blade is set to debut in October 2015.  It will feature a variant cover by Tim Seeley which you can check out above.
