Dark Horse Comics has been teasing something big and spooky on its Instagram page over the past couple days. Now, all has been revealed. The publisher has announced Manor Black, a four-issue mini-series from writers Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt and artist Tyler Crook. I don't know about you, but that's all I need to hear. I'm in. In case you need a little more to go on, here's the write-up from Dark Horse:

From the creators of Harrow County and The Sixth Gun, comes a gothic horror fantasy about a family of sorcerers in crisis. Roman Black is the moribund patriarch of a family of powerful sorcerers. As his wicked and corrupt children fight over who will take the reins of Manor Black and represent the black arts, Roman adopts Ari, a young mage, who he gifts his powers to with the hope that someone good will take his place against the evil forces out to bring down his family and legacy.

After Harrow County and The Sixth Gun, I'm all in for anything these guys create. Needless to say, I'm eagerly awaiting Manor Black. The first issue is set for release on July 31st, 2019.
