DYNAMITE COLLECTS LUCIO PARRILLO'S COVERS FOR NEW ART BOOK

Lucio Parrillo's artwork is incredible. He's been gracing us with gorgeous covers for comics from Dynamite Entertainment for some time and now we'll get a chance to stare at them for hours in a new deluxe art book. The Dynamite Art of Lucio Parrillo reprints over 150 covers on oversized high quality paper without logos or other distractions.

"I have been working with Dynamite for over 10 years and have made so many covers of Red Sonja, Vampirella and many other important characters," said Lucio Parrillo. "I grew artistically studying the artists of the past and frequenting the museums of Paris, Rome and Florence. My style blends 19th century classics with a modern twist. Traditional painting techniques are more rare in today's market, with so many going digital, and I think that is a part of what attracts my fans to me."

The Dynamite Art of Lucio Parrillo clocks in at 200 pages featuring a ton of covers along with a selection of process and preliminary pieces of art curated by the artist himself. There are signed editions available for collectors and even some with one-of-a-kind remakes from Lucio. The works include everything from Red Sonja and Vampirella to Dejah Thoris and the Chaos! Comics characters.

"It's been an absolute pleasure to work with Lucio on so many projects to this day," said Nick Barrucci, Dynamite Publisher and CEO. "He truly ranks up there as one of the great cover artists of this era or any, and each new piece never disappoints. We're incredibly proud to have contributed to his soaring career and knew this was the perfect time to assemble a dedicated spotlight for his work!"

The Dynamite Art of Lucio Parrillo will be available in November 2019.
