childs play 2019 large

You have to wait until June 21st, 2019, before you can see the Child's Play remake, but you can get a taste of what's possibly in store with the first trailer that hit today. I have no impression either way as of yet, and you have to keep in mind that I'm the type of person that does not care what's remade. I just care if it's good. The only thing that saddens me is I've read that the amazing Brad Dourif will not be reprising his role as the voice of Chucky for this film, instead opting to do the upcoming Child's Play television show. IMDB has no listing yet on who Chucky will be voiced by, so I'm pretty curious.

Child's Play (2019) was directed by Lars Klevberg, written by Tyler Burton Smith (based on the characters by Don Mancini) and stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, and Gabriel Bateman.

A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, CHILD’S PLAY follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.

He's the puppet master. You don't see him, but he pulls the strings that gets things done. He's the silent partner. He's black ops. If you notice his presence, it's the last thing you'll notice — because now you're dead. He's the shadow you thought you saw in that dark alleyway. You can have a conversation with him, and when you turn around to offer him a cup of coffee, he's already gone.
